(hereinafter referred to as “Baseus ”, "we”, “us”, “our”) is the service provider and operator of the Baseus Security Camera product line and services (including all devices, linked mobile devices and our mobile applications, hereinafter referred to as "the Products and Services").. We fully respect your privacy and will do our utmost to protect the security of your personal data. We may collect, use or otherwise process your personal data based on your consent or in accordance with the relevant provisions of applicable laws and regulations during your use of the Products and Services. Baseus firmly believes that the fundamental privacy rights should not differ depending on where you live in the world. Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, in particular by reference to the individual's name, identification number, location data, and online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental of that natural person will be treated as “Personal Data” by us, regardless of where such natural person lives. We collect Personal Data during the provision and administration of the Baseus Security APP and related technical support.
We only collect the information that is necessary for specified, concrete, explicit and legitimate purposes and will ensure that the information is not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes. If we intent to use your Personal Data for other purposes not specified in this Policy, we will obtain your consent at that time.
We may collect your Personal Data by the following means: 1) information you provide directly to us (such as your nickname, profile picture, name you provide to us when you login to your account or take part in the promotion activity we held); 2) information we obtain automatically during your use of this Application (such as device information, service log information); 3) information we obtain from other sources.
When using our products and services, please be aware that privacy and video surveillance laws in your area may apply. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all relevant laws. Recording or sharing video or audio content that includes other individuals, or capturing their facial features, may impact their privacy rights.
You have the right to choose whether or not to provide the Personal Data when you use the Products and Services or when we have requested. You are not required to provide your Personal Data to Baseus , but in some cases, if you choose not to do so, we will not be able to provide you with related products or services, nor will we be able to respond or resolve the problems you've encountered. Our App may request your permission to access your mobile device's connection information, storage capabilities, sensors or other features. We only require access when it is necessary or useful for the provision of our Services:
Wi-Fi, Internet and Bluetooth -- The App requires Wi-Fi, Internet, and Bluetooth permissions to link the App to the device, and to connect your system to our server. Blocking these permissions would impair the functions of our devices.
Camera and photos -- The App may require access to your mobile device's camera or photo gallery to enable certain functions, such as saving the video or picture that you record or capture, uploading a picture as your avatar, or providing.videos or pictures for us through App Feedback channel or “event donation”.
Microphone -- The App may seek permission to access your mobile device's microphone to enable certain features. You may refuse to give permission or withdraw your permission at any time through the privacy settings of your mobile device.
Location -- The App requires location permission to automatically fill in your Wi-Fi network during the setup of the device.
Push notification -- The App seeks your permission for push notification on your mobile device, which will be used to notify you about the status of your device.
Storage-- The APP seeks your permission for accessing photos, media and files on your devices.
You may change the permission settings at any time under the settings of your operating system, but please be informed that revoking permissions may affect the provision and performance of the Products and Services.
Where permitted by law, we may obtain your Personal Data from other individuals, business entities, public channels or other third parties acting at your direction, our partners who work with us to provide our products and services and assist us in information security and fraud prevention, and from other lawful sources. We will explain it to you at the time of such collection and obtain your consent.
We may also use other methods to collect other information about you, your device or your use of services, which will be explained to you at the time of collection and we will obtain your consent.

The Personal Data collected and generated during our operations in North American Area will be stored on servers located in America .
The Personal Data collected and generated during our operations in Australia will be stored on servers located in Australia.
The Personal Data collected and generated in business outside the North American Area and Australasia will be stored in the servers in Germany.
According to business conditions, we may use servers in other regions or countries in the future, and we will update this Policy at that time.

We do not sell any Personal Data to third parties. In order to provide you with timely services, your Personal Data may be shared with our affiliated companies. You have the right to control your privacy settings and restrict our collection, use, disclosure, or processing of your Personal Data via such privacy settings. For example, you can prefer turn on or turn off the permissions of “Location Access”, “Camera”, “Text Message”; you can also obtain detailed information regarding the device security status in “Settings”. If you have agreed to such permission or have agreed to our use of your information previously for the above-mentioned scenarios. You can turn it off via “Permission Management” > “App Permissions”(Depends on your device and app version) or contact us via support@baseussecurity.com to change your decision.
You can request to cancel through the “Logout” settings provided in the service or by contacting us via support@baseussecurity.com. We hereby kindly remind you that, if you wish to cancel a certain service or account, such cancellation may prevent you from using some of Baseus Security Camera serial products features and its services, and such act of account cancellation is irreversible. Once you cancel your account, we will delete or de-identification your relevant information. You also can apply for the cancellation of your account directly in the APP.
Particularly, according to the applicable laws of some jurisdictions, you may have the following data subjects rights:
(1) Right to restriction processing. You have the right to request our restriction on the processing of your Personal Data. We shall consider the grounds regarding your restriction request. If the grounds are in the compliance with applicable data protection laws, we will process your Personal Data under applicable circumstances in such laws and notify you before the restriction of processing is lifted.
